Our next destination is Al Khor Island, also known as bajrat bin Ganim or Purple Island, featuring the nation‘s sole archaeological site dating back to the 2nd millennium BC. Our itinerary takes us to Al Dakira City, a former village where fishermen and pearl hunters once thrived. Here, we can observe cargo ships and traditional fishing dhow boats. As the day unfolds, we conclude our adventure and return to Doha.
